Dhruvanarayan passed away: Mysore: There is a wave of mourning in the Congress party at this time. Karnataka Congress Working President, former MP and senior Dalit leader R. Dhruvnarayan passed away on Saturday. At the age of 61, he had a heart attack due to which he died.

According to information, Dhruvnarayan was at his residence when he suffered a heart attack at 6.30 am. As soon as Dhruvanarayan’s health deteriorated, he left for the hospital along with his driver. But on the way his condition became very critical and he was declared brought dead on reaching the hospital.

Dhruvanarayana joined the Congress in 1983 and served as the president of the Bengaluru unit of the NSUI in 1986. He represented Chamarajanagar parliamentary constituency twice. He also won from Kollegal and Sante Marali constituencies as Congress MLA.

Congress insiders said that he is preparing to contest from the Nanjangud reserved constituency in the upcoming assembly elections.

As a mark of respect to him, the Congress has canceled the Praja Dhvani Yatra in Ramanagara and Davangere districts.

Dhruvanarayan passed away: veteran leaders express grief

KPCC working president Satish Jarkiholi has condoled the demise of his colleague.

Expressing condolences, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he was saddened by the demise of Dhruvanarayan and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. I pray for strength to his family and supporters in this hour of grief.
